Walden Cabin: Observations typed on an old Underwood

Walden Cabin is a Web site, but it's also an 19th century carriage house in Prince Edward Island. Walden Cabin PEI grew out of my search for a place to reconnect with the land in my home province. It was also to be my personal creative space where I could escape the city to think and to write. I had no idea at the time that Henry David Thoreau had carved his own similar space over a hundred years earlier. So my cabin is named for his.
